此件花觚造型考究，喇叭大敞口，口沿包金银，束颈，鼓腹，外撇圈足。外壁四面出戟装饰，衔接连贯。底足露胎，胎质细腻干爽。通体满施釉，釉水匀润肥庾，釉层凝厚乳浊，稍显浅淡。整件花觚形制大气沉稳，仿青铜花觚制式，为钧窑难得一见的隽秀制品，传世并不多见。随着瓷器烧造技术的不断提高，瓷器的造型更加丰富，很多陈设用瓷开始有了一定的实用功能。早期的花觚除了陈设用之外，民间多用于插花，布置厅堂。花觚的造型隽秀，端庄大方，线条变化十分丰富。常见的有五彩花觚和青花花觚以及颜色釉花觚三种。装饰题材有人物故事、民间传说、缠枝花卉或是花鸟等。花觚的时代特征十分明显，明代的花觚主要是三段式的，上面是喇叭口，中间是鼓腹，下部是凤尾，器型古朴典雅。我们常见的明代花觚以五彩最为贵重。一般都呈现出文饰繁密，层次分明，色彩艳丽，风格硬朗的特点。The shape of this vase is exquisite.
