李世倬[清代]（1687―1770）字天章，一字汉章、天涛，别号十石居士、太平拙吏、伊祁山人、清在号谷斋，又号菉园、星厓，居士，奉天（今辽宁沈阳）人，一作三韩（今内蒙喀喇沁旗西南）人，隶籍汉军正黄旗。如龙子，高其佩（1672—1734）外甥。官至副都御史。曾任太常，人称李太常。

    善画山水、人物、花鸟、果品，各臻其妙。少随父宦游江南，见王翚（1632—1717）得其讲论，后与马逸游，故宗法纯正而笔亦秀隽。其人物，自言得吴道子水陆道场图而阅之，遂悟其法。其花鸟、果品各种写意，盖得诸舅氏之指墨而易以笔，故能各名一家。晚年喜用指墨作人物、花鸟小品，以焦墨细擦，颇得轻重浅深之致。年逾八旬犹能作画，书小楷。
Good at painting landscapes, figures, flowers and birds, fruits, each of them is wonderful. Shao followed his father's official tour to the south of the Yangtze River. Wang Jian (1632-1717) received his speech and later traveled with Ma Yiyou. Therefore, his patriarchal clan system was pure and elegant. His characters, self-proclaimed Wu Daozi's water and land road field map and read it, then understand its method.     李世倬幼年跟舅舅高其佩学习指画，几乎学到乱真出奇的地步。有一次，高其佩正在作《岁朝图》，当画到一半时，忽报有客来访。高其佩见来人远道而来，离开画案，洗净蘸满墨汁的手，把客人请至会客厅叙旧。
Li Shiyi learned finger painting from his uncle Gao Qipei when he was young, and he almost learnt the amazing degree of chaos. On one occasion, Gao Qipei was working on the Sui Chao Tu. When he drew half of it, he missed a visitor's visit. Gao Qipei saw the visitors coming from afar, left the painting, washed his hands full of ink, and invited the guests to the meeting room to recall the past.

李世倬正痴痴地看着这半幅未完成的画，看的忘情。本想等客人走后继续看舅舅作画，可是见宾主二人欢言甚洽，恐怕一时半会儿结束不了。李世倬面对画案愣神儿，仿佛进入一个境界，不由自主地用手指蘸了墨汁，在舅舅未竟的的画上接着画了起来。画完刚刚洗了手，舅舅已送走客人，来到画室，仔细看了看画，便自语道：“唔，该题个款了！”李世倬见舅舅没有辨认出他的续作，心里暗自高兴。
Li Shi-Ni is gazing at the half unfinished painting and forgetting his feelings. I wanted to see my uncle painting after the guests left, but I'm afraid it won't be over in a moment. Li Shi-Ni was stunned by the painting, as if he had entered a realm. He involuntarily dipped his finger in ink and then drew on his uncle's unexpected painting. Li Shi-Ni was delighted to see that his uncle did not recognize his sequel.

其实，高其佩已经看出来了，只不过佯装不知，也暗自高兴：“世倬外甥的画技长进如此之快，孺子可教也！”以后，一遇到索画甚急，他也让外甥替他完成。据说，高其佩有一些大幅指画就是由李世倬等代画的。

李世倬传世作品有雍正三年(1725)作《杂画册》、雍正十一年(1733)作《钟馗策蹇载酒图》轴(指画)；《溪山访友图》轴、《嵩祝图》卷；《亭林山色图》轴、《牡丹图》轴；《清舒山馆图》轴；《秋雨江南图》等。
