为什么要坚持？

Why insist?

 

如果我们仅就第一次体验之后就轻言放弃，因累积而产生的质变，将因浅尝辄止而中断。这就反证了某些特定事件的伟大，譬如1873年成立的“无名艺术家协会”（其中部分成员组建了印象派），骨干成员包括：德加、毕沙罗、莫奈、塞尚等人，面对嘲笑他们极富自谑精神，印象派得以独立于官方沙龙与学院派评审之外而茁壮成长，才有了坚守了八届的印象派画展；才有了我们所熟知的那些名字；也就有了很多未知的可能性，包括：“崇尚自由表达，尊重独创性”；影响并催生了“表现主义”的“后印象派”正是在这样的风气之下才得以发展的。当下，基于此，我觉得有必要继续下去，尽管期间鼓舞与质疑并存，而“自觉”依旧是我们坚持下去的理由。

 

If you try once and give up easily, quantitative change cannot be upgraded to qualitative change.  Great events in history, such as the "nameless artists association" established in 1873 (some members founded impressionism).  The backbone members include Degas, pissarro, Monet, Cezanne and others. Faced with ridicule, they are even more self-joking.  Impressionism sought free development beyond the official aesthetic and academic imprison. It persisted in the eight-session impressionist painting exhibition, produced a group of outstanding artists who influenced history and produced many new artistic styles and concepts: "advocating freedom, respecting originality" and "post-impressionism" influenced and promoted the emergence of "expressionism".  Today, it is necessary for us to stick to it. Although encouragement and doubts exist at the same time, "consciousness" is still the reason for us to stick to it.
