The process of urbanization has changed the form of human settlements. With the advent of high-efficiency traffic, high-density housing and social networks, the components of the community have become multi-dimensional and the space-time boundaries of the community have become blurred. In “Urbanization, Community Activation and Border Renewal”, the artist combines the behaviors of occupants, daily segments of the community, and border connections. Based on the city’s big data, the artist depicts four typical landscapes in a gamified manner, including the ridiculous daily life of Urban Village public spaces, the quantitative renewal of community-boundary traffic, the tracking and construction of old-age group activity venues, and the reverse observation of the walking quality of community streets. The artist tries to use the complex narrative between urban development and historical legacy as a background to explore the real issues in urban space. Under the operation of individual integrated urban networks, “Urbanization, community activation and boundary renewal” revealed that our era is undergoing a turbulent change, that is, urban processes under the driving forces of various man-made environments.
