五月即将以第五十七届威尼斯双年展拉开帷幕，香格纳代理艺术家耿建翌将参展“艺术万岁”(“VIVA ARTE VIVA”)主题馆。香格纳上海，北京以及新加坡空间皆在本月迎来新展。本月初，林钰玘首次个展《Qfwfq》将于5月6日在香格纳M50开幕。令人期待的著名影像装置艺术家阿彼察邦·韦拉斯哈古将于5月27日在香格纳上海空间举办首个个展《纪念碑》。由艺术家本人精选的跨越10年(2007至2017年)的作品，包括艺术家与世界知名音乐家、作曲家坂本龍一合作创作的音乐影像装置以及近期在国际享有盛誉的系列影像装置等，所有作品均在国内首次展出。香格纳北京空间将推出艺术家陈维的同名个展《陈维》，展出艺术家以介于虚构与真实的手法通过一系列摄影与雕像装置重读关于城市的想象与现实。不久前在香格纳M50重新开放的群展中参展的艺术家刘毅将携其动画装置在香格纳新加坡空间举办其首次个展《流光溢彩》。

　　The bustling May is about to be commenced with Geng Jianyi’s participation in the 57th edition Venice Biennale titled as “VIVA ARTE VIVA” . Gallery spaces in Shanghai, Beijing and Singapore are all welcoming a whole new turn of solo exhibitions. At the beginning of this month, Lin Yuqi’s “Qfwfq” will open on 6 May at ShanghART M50. World renowned film and video installation artist, Apichatpong Weerasethakul will hold his first solo exhibition “Monuments” at ShanghART Shanghai on 27 May. Carefully selected works by the artist over 10 years (2007-2017), including the new music video produced in collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto and reputable video installations series in recent years will be showcasing in China for first time. ShanghART Beijing will present Chen Wei’s solo exhibition named after himself “Chen Wei” on 20 May. This exhibition will showcase how the artist re-interprets the imagination and reality of a city through photographs series, sculptures and installations. Liu Yi, who previously participated the reopening exhibition of ShanghART M50, will bring her animation installations to ShanghART Singapore for her first solo exhibition "Flowing Feast”.
