　　“世界水彩画大赛”(Universal Watercolor Exposition)，是国际水彩画协会主办的世界性高端水彩画大赛，2018全球最隆重的水彩盛事。其目的是通过搭建更高平台，荟萃水彩经典，提携水彩新人，彰显顶尖水准，引领世界水彩发展，用水彩画艺术演绎更高、更强的“奥林匹克”精神内涵，实现“团结、友谊、和平、进步”的全人类所需要向往和追求的共同目标。

　　Universal Watercolor Exposition, the Olympic summit of watercolor art in IWS’ blueprint is designed to meet the new height of contemporary world painting art. Through the Universal Watercolor Exposition, we want to build a high-end platform, to demonstrate watercolor classics, to offer opportunities, to highlight the top level and to lead the development of the world watercolor art. We will make all effort to make Universal Watercolor Exposition the world's most grand watercolor event, and to use watercolor art to interpret "Olympic" spiritual connotation of higher and stronger, to achieve the common goal of all the human beings "unity, friendship, peace, progress".

　　“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”征稿的讯息，在2017年5月发布后引起热烈的反响，全世界的水彩画家踊跃报名参加。为了给参赛者更充分的创作时间，本次大赛主办方、承办方决定，将“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”征稿时间和展出时间同时延后6个月，特此推出新版“2018首届世界水彩画大赛征稿通知”。

　　The release of our Contribution Invitation of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018 in May 2017 aroused heated responses, and watercolor artists from all over the world enrolled enthusiastically. In order to give participants a possible adequate time to create, the hosts and organizers decide to delay the solicitation and exhibition time of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018 for 6 months at the same time. Therefore, we release this new contribution invitation here.

　　五、竞赛方案

　　Competition Program:

　　面向全球水彩爱好者征稿，各IWS成员国主席推荐本国20名左右艺术家参赛，艺术家也可以自行投稿参赛，由本届艺术委员会评委会严格评审，遴选出约100件作品入围参展，评选出12件获奖作品。

　　We invite contributions from watercolor lovers worldwide. Every IWS member country will recommend about 20 artists of their own country, artists can also submit their own entries. The Art Committee judges will review all contributions carefully and strictly to choose about 100 works to show on the Exposition, and then select 12 winning entries.

　　六、流程

　　Competition Procedure:

　　1、征稿：2017年7月—2018年6月。

　　Solicitation: July 2017 to June 2018

　　2、评选：2018年7月—2018年8月(评选出入围作品)。

　　Selection: July 2018 to August 2018 (choose shortlisted works)

　　3、2018年9月，入围作品寄达，并评选出获奖作品。

　　All the shortlisted entries received, and winning entries selected in September 2018.

　　4、2018年10月20日参加大赛开幕式来宾、参展画家报到。

　　The guests of Opening Ceremony and exhibitor artists will register on 20th October, 2018.

　　5、2018年10月21日“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”展览开幕式及颁奖典礼。

　　The Opening Ceremony and Awards Ceremony of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition will be held on 21st October, 2018.

　　七、征稿通知

　　Requests

　　1、每位参赛者最多选送参赛水彩画作品两幅。

　　Every artist can submit up to 2 watercolor entries.

　　2、作品应是近两年内(2016年1月1日后)的原创作品。

　　The entries should be original works in nearly 2 years (after January 1, 2016).

　　3、作品的尺寸短边不小于45cm，长边不大于120cm，有特殊尺寸请提前联系主办方。无需装裱。

　　The short side of the works should not less than 45cm and long side not more than 120cm. Please contact the organizer in advance if there are any special dimensions. No mounting required.

　　4、通过电子邮件发送参赛资料,邮箱为uwexpo@163.com

　　The works should be submitted as an e-mail. The mailbox that accepts the submission is uwexpo@163.com

　　电子邮件名为“国籍+城市+姓名”，电子邮件仅使用英文或者中文。参赛资料包括：

　　The format of the submission mail name should be "Nationality + City + Name". The email should be written in English or Chinese. Please provide the following information:

　　1)最多2张作品的数字图片(JPEG格式，2-3MB之间，分辨率不低于300DPI，图片文件名为“国籍+作者名+作品名+作品尺寸(按照厘米计、高度*宽度)”。

　　Digital picture of the 1 or at most 2 works (JPEG format, 2-3MB, resolution of not less than 300DPI, picture name should be "Nationality + Artist Name + Works Name + Works Size", size in centimeters, height * width)

　　2)作者身份证件的照片，至少显示姓名、国籍、出生日期、性别、证件号码等信息。

　　The picture of the artist's identity documents, at least states the name, nationality, date of birth, gender, ID number and other information.

　　3)作者近期正面照片一张(用于出版画册)。

　　One recently taken, full-faced photo of the artist (for album publishing)

　　5、接受参赛资料的时间自2017年7月1日起至2018年6月30日24:00时截止(以收到时间为准)。

　　The solicitation period is from July 1st, 2017 to 24:00 on June 30th, 2018 (subject to receipt of the mail).

　　6、入围作品作者将会收到“作品入围通知书”的电子邮件，包含邀请参加开幕及颁奖典礼的邀请函、寄送作品原件的通知(送达的原作必须与邮件参赛作品一致)，落选作品恕不另行通知。

　　The artist of the shortlisted works will receive an e-mail of the "Shortlisted Notice", which include an invitation of the Opening Ceremony and Awards Ceremony and a notice to send the original works (the original works must be consistent with the mail entries). And unsuccessful works will not be notified.

　　7、入围作品寄达后评委会评选出获奖作品。

　　The Art Committee will select winning entries after all the shortlisted entries received.

　　八、奖项设置

　　Awards

　　1、评选出入围作品约100幅，其中12幅获奖作品

　　Select 12 winning works from about 100 shortlisted works.

　　金奖 1名，奖金8万元人民币;

　　1 Gold Award, bonus RMB 80,000 yuan;

　　银奖2名，奖金5万元人民币;

　　2 Silver Awards, bonus RMB 50,000 yuan per person;

　　铜奖3名，奖金3万元人民币;

　　3 Bronze Awards, bonus RMB 30,000 yuan per person;

　　优秀奖6名。

　　2、入围及获奖作品

　　1)入围作品在“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”展出。

　　The shortlisted works will be exhibited on the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018.

　　2)入围作品收录入《2018首届世界水彩画大赛优秀作品展》作品集。

　　The shortlisted works will be included in the excellent works collection of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018.

　　3)其中获奖作品颁发“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”获奖证书、奖金。

　　The winning works will be awarded certificate and bonus of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018.

　　4)其中获奖作品作者获邀参加“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”展览开幕式和颁奖典礼，获邀参加开幕晚宴，获邀参加为期三天的诸暨写生活动，主办方承担以上活动的食宿及交通费用。

　　The winners of awards will be invited to participate in the Opening Ceremony and Awards Ceremony of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018, the Opening Dinner, and the 3-days painting activities in Zhuji. The Organizing Committee will bear the accommodation and transportation expenses of the above activities.

　　5)入围作品作者获邀参加“2018首届世界水彩画大赛”开幕和颁奖仪式，获邀参加开幕晚宴，组委会承担晚宴费用。

　　The artist of shortlisted works will be invited to participate in the Opening Ceremony and Awards Ceremony of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018, and the Opening Dinner. The Organizing Committee will bear the expenses of the Opening Dinner.

　　6)所有入围作品作者获赠《2018首届世界水彩画大赛优秀作品展》作品集1本。

　　The artist of shortlisted works will receive 1 set of the excellent works collection of the 1st Universal Watercolor Exposition 2018.

　　九、参展费用与相关事宜

　　Participation Fee and Related Matters

　　1、参赛报名免费。

　　Registration is free.

　　2、组委会承担入围作品的装裱费用，对入围作品有展览、出版及宣传权。

　　The Organizing Committee will bear the cost of framing works for all shortlisted works, and have the exhibition, publishing and publicity rights of the shortlisted works.

　　3、参赛作者需承担递交参赛资料和寄送作品的费用，展览结束后将寄还参赛作者作品。

　　Participants should bear the cost of submitting the entry materials and sending the works. The works will be returned to the artist after the end of the exhibition.

　　4、为防止意外发生，建议参展作者对自己的作品在寄送过程中进行保险。

　　To prevent accidental loss, it is recommended that exhibitor artists insure their own works during delivery.

　　5、本征稿通知具有法律效力。

　　This contribution invitation has legal effect.

　　6、相关的日程安排，入选名单，获奖报道等更多信息将在上海鸿美术馆官方网站、上海鸿美术馆微信公众号，诸暨市水彩画博物馆官方网站、诸暨水彩博物馆微信公众号，“水彩界”官方网站、“水彩界”微信公众号上发布。

　　Related schedule, shortlists, award reports and more information will be released in the official website and WeChat public number of Shanghai Hong Museum, Zhuji Watercolor Art Museum and Watercolor Circle.

　　7、主办方对本活动保留最终解释权。
