在宁丹丹的作品中具有了一种十分宝贵而又令人感动的——单纯性。她似乎天生就喜欢画画,画画似乎也就是她的一生之约,说不出特别理由,更读不上什么功利目的。
由此,我也可以推想出她作画时的状态:必是心无旁鹜,专心致志。
从学理上分析,她的画面兼有了抽象和表现两个元素,抑或还略带一点意象性。艺术家把母题(山水或花卉)都化作了带上一点透明感的斑烂的色彩,又特地把主色调定位在桃红色,或玫瑰色,既明丽奔放,又别致大方。而随着色彩的铺开,层次的变化,浓淡的对比,笔触的律动,线条的穿插,轻重、厚薄的交错运用等等,情绪的表现也被一步一步地推向了一个极致。这个极致,正是单纯性这个特点最有力的证明。当然,极致也是一个可移动的标竿。今天的所谓极致,也许在明天就变得不再极致了。所以,极致仍要去不断地追求,且永无穷尽。
总之,站在宁丹丹的作品前,似乎毋须多言,只须紧紧抓住一个字:看。用心去看,用心去体验,一切便尽在其中……
Paintings Conveying the Soul

There is a kind of precious and touching simplicity in the works created by Ning Ning Dandan. She is seemingly born to enjoy painting while painting is seemingly her commitment for life, for no special reason, let alone the purpose of fame and wealth.
From this, I can imagine the state she is in when they paint: she must be so concentrated and focused that she reaches a “relaxed and peaceful” state.
Analyzed from an academic point of view, the appearance of her paintings possesses two elements of both abstraction and expression, and even a bit of imagism. The artist treats the motifs with rich transparent colors and specially choose pink and rose as main colors, which is not only bright and bold but also unique and tasteful. In addition, along with the spread of colors, the changes of layers, the contrast of shades, the rhythm of brushstrokes, the interweaving of lines and the alternate use of different degrees of lightness or darkness and thickness or thinness, the representation of emotions is gradually pushed to the extreme. The extreme is the most compelling evidence of the characteristic of simplicity. Of course, the extreme is a movable benchmark. Today’s so-called extreme may become non-extreme the next day. So, the extreme needs to be pursued constantly and for good.
In a word, standing before the works by Ning Dandan, you do not have to say anything except for clinging to the word: Admire. If you admire and experience these works with your heart, everything is embodied in these works
