让新世纪绘画披上科技的盛装
— 董唯艺术作品的倾向性解析

        科技与绘画的关系一直是人们较为关注的话题。随着时代的发展,科学知识为绘画的 进步提供了支持 , 也带动了绘画的创新 , 绘画也为科技的发展做出了自己的贡献。科技元 素的应用和普及,已经开始全面渗透到艺术领域,为艺术带来了更多的可能性,当艺术遇 见科技,两者已经碰撞出了绚丽的火花。

        也许,科技不是永远被动地接受艺术的挑战,但科技一定在诱导着当代艺术家的大胆 创新,就这方面,艺术家董唯应验了。他在自己的绘画世界里,不断地找寻着绘画与科技 的结合点和切入点,其作品以电脑为观念绘画的载体。无论中间有着怎样的殊途,都与其 他艺术形式一样,最终完全是源于一个出发点— 原创性。他的作品诞生,或许预示着这 个时代的绘画走向,或许预示着科学技术在创造艺术。

        从董唯新世纪绘画的思想性上来看,作者是以现实主义的态度,以 『小我』的艺术个 性姿态,在生活表象的平常中和人们可见的熟悉事物中,去挖掘发挥人性内在的本真以及『大我』的思想深刻性;其作品在平实中听到情感的心弦,在简约中悟感到意蕴的艺术美质, 给人启迪,让人思考。他对新世纪绘画的关注,是通过实验性绘画形式,表征自我灵魂的追求, 也在思想的情境之中,用艺术家的追问去创作,他超越了自己,也超越了传统绘画本身。同时, 他也在接受着生活的启迪,并以精神的关注和投入,以一位艺术家的本真和灵犀去探索行走。

        从艺术倾向上来看,艺术家董唯的作品首先以艺术立场及其观念性所产生的价值,构 成了鲜明的艺术性。他以个性而又灵动的线条、沉凝而又对比的色彩,关注可见的艺术形 式和具有独立表现精神性的艺术特征;他以深厚的艺术学养、扎实的绘画功底和浪漫主义 的情怀以及表现主义的艺术魅力,坚实地贯穿于作品之中 , 并对新科技的尝试和新形式的 追求进行探究,为新世纪绘画带来种种可能;他也从观念传播上极大地拓展了绘画艺术的表现平台。同时,伴随着艺术家的想象力和创造力 , 作品的艺术语言不断得到充实和多样 性的发挥 , 呈现出多元化表现开放式格局 , 加之艺术家的观念,披上了新世纪绘画中的科 技所带来的奇妙而又煊赫的盛装。

        值得一赞的是,艺术家董唯在确立、完善和发展个人艺术语言的过程中,以时代为参照, 并在时代的作用下,积极地寻找融合性的表达契机,让绘画艺术呈现出一个具有时代光环 中的新世纪之美。

Dressing the New Century Painting with Technology

---Tendentious Analysis of Dong Wei’s art works

        

The relation between technology and painting is always a concerned topic. With the development of time, the technological knowledge provides support to the advance of painting and also motivates the innovation of painting. The painting makes it own contribution to the development of technology. The application and popularization of technological elements have already penetrated into the art field and brought more possibilities to art. When art meets technology, the two have crashed out of splendid spark. 

Probably, technology is not always accepted the challenge of art passively. But technology must tempt the audacious innovation of contemporary artists. As to this aspect, artist Dong Wei is fulfilled. In his own painting world, he is endlessly searching the joint point and entry point of painting and technology. His works are the carrier with computer concept painting. No matter how different the way in between is, it is the same with other art forms, which are eventually originated from one starting point—originality. The birth of his works may predict the future of paintings of this era or the technology creating the art. 

Seeing from the ideological level of Dong Wei’s new century paintings, the author is to excavate and exert the inner truth of humanity and the thought profundity of “the greater self” by the representative of everyday life and the visible familiar things with realistic manner and the “small self” artistic individual gesture. We can hear the emotional heartstrings in plain and feel the artistic aesthetics in simplicity, enlightening us and making us thinking. His concern to the new century painting is to represent the pursuing of ego soul by experimental painting forms. Also, he creates with the artists’ close questions in the context of mind. He surpasses himself and the traditional painting itself. At the same time, he is receiving the enlightenment of life and exploring and walking with the spiritual attention and input as well as with the truth and affinity of an artist. 

Seeing from the artistic tendency, artist Dong Wei’s works firstly constitutes its distinct artistry by their standpoint and the value generated from the concept. He uses his specific flexible lines and deep contrastive colors to focus on the visible art forms and characteristics with independent performance of spirituality. He applies the solid art cultivation, steady drawing ability, romantic feelings and expressive art charms to his works consistently. He also explores the attempt to new technology and pursue to new forms, bringing sorts of possibilities to new century painting. He greatly broadens the perform arena of the painting art from the point of conceptual transmission. In the mean time, with the artists’ imagination and creativity, the art language of works gets their fulfillment and diverse exertion, showing a pattern of diversity and openness. With the concept of artists, the works are splendid dressed with the wonderful and amazing attire brought by new century painting technology. 

It is worth to praising that, artist Dong Wei, in the process of confirming, perfecting and developing his own art language, referring to the era, and by the effect of which, searching for the confluent expressive opportunity, presents the painting art a new century aesthetics with the halo of the era.
