A master of creativity in romantic, Zhang Chaoxiang, who is praised to be the founder of China ‘Yefeng’painting Sect and born in 1943,  whose pseudonym is ‘Yefeng’, and is also named ‘Yefeng painting Sect’. He is a member of Chinese Artists’ Association, the lifelong visiting Professor and honorary life Chairman of Calligraphy and Painting in the National Palace Museum in Taipei, who is also the Vice Chairman of International Artists’ Association and the Vice Chairman of the International ISQ9000A Calligraphy Artist Certification and the Chairman of China Creative and Research Center of ‘Yefeng painting Sect’ and also the Vice Director of Chinese National Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Zhang is also the honorary Chairman of the Chinese Artists’ Association, as well as the Vice Chairman of the World Chinese Artists’ Association and the Executive Vice Chairman and the Secretary-General of the Chinese Artists' Association, the Vice Chairman of the World Outstanding Chinese Union Association, a Council of the Artists Association of the United Nations, the honorary Chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Artists Association, a visiting Professor of the Chinese Online Education Center, the Vice Director of the International Painting Institute and so on. He has been issued ‘the world's Lifetime Achievement Golden Award’ and ‘the Presidential Award’ by the United States. Zhang was awarded the honorary title of “the most influential painting and calligraphy artists contemporarily in China” by the Committee of the Ninth Chinese Century DaCaiFeng Activities in May 2009. He spent more than 40 years in building the ‘China Yefeng painting Sect Art’ elaborately. The creative theory and painting set, ‘China Yefeng painting Sect of Zhang Chaoxiang’ is published by Chinese Literature and History Press. A book, published by the Tianjin People's Fine Arts Publishing House, names ‘The Creativity in Yefeng painting Sect Art of Zhang Chaoxiang’. The follows works include ‘The Theory of Yefeng painting Sect by Zhang Chaoxiang’, ‘The Creativity of Glory by Zhang Chaoxiang’, ‘The Painting Art of Caring about the earth’, ‘The whole life for Development of China Yefeng painting Sect’and ‘The Creative Road to Chinese Paintings by Zhang Chaoxiang’ and so on. Thousands of Zhang’s works have been collected by the friends in aboard and home, for instance, He Houhua, Huo Yingdong, Gorbachev etc., who are all the important national figures.

Zhang Chaoxiang was honored with Moved China Cultural Characters in 2011 and served as the Chief Editor in Chinese Cultural Celebrities Association. He held an exhibition of his works in 1988 at China Art Gallery and then at China Painting Academy. Later on he held a solo exhibition again in New York and Paris. He also visited the museums that in 14 countries and enjoyed the great benefits from the local conditions. Zhang was awarded ‘the world's Lifetime Achievement Golden Award’ by the CEO of American International Celebrities Research Institute. He was issued by Britain Cambridge International Celebrities Research Center, awarded ‘International Celebrities Tiptop Honorary Prize'. His paintings were published in ‘the Works of Top Ten’ , ‘The Collection of New genre character’ , ‘Painting Leaders’ Work assembles’, ‘Twelve artists Paintings’ portfolio’, ‘A set of Top ten Painters’ Works’, ‘The Group Together of Outstanding characters of Chinese Art-Age’.  ‘Art Frontier’ was published by Zhang Chaoxiang and Master Wu Guanzhong. CCTV shot a 30-minute special program called Yefeng—A Dream of Painter Zhang Chaoxiang, which was broadcasted in CCTV 1, CCTV 3, etc.

In March 2011, Zhang Chaoxiang, who was the founder of Chinese Yefeng Painting sect, appeared in ‘People’s Meritorious Artist’ which was edited by China’s Contribution to the Association for Professionals, World Federation of Artist, Global Art Identification Center, People’s Meritorious Artist Compilation Committee. He is also directly evaluated for the certificate and special allowance from ‘Chinese Contributive Experts’, served as a member of the World Artists Association. Meanwhile, Zhang is also appraised by the Global Art Center for national art level certificate after the evaluation, and employed as the Appraisal Center Chief Expert of Global Art. ‘The Investment hot spots’ published by the people's fine arts publishing house, which brings Zhang Chaoxiang’s landscape paintings together with master Li Keran’s works and rongbaozhai publishing the posters, liu dawei, Zhang Chaoxiang album, called Art Company in China. The Art Research Institute of Confucius Institute published ‘Chinese painting Meritorious Characters Collection’ composed of eight people include Zhang Chaoxiang, etc. In 2012,CCTV Global Travel Channel, Collection Channel, Calligraphy and Painting World, Shaanxi 8 sets of Oriental Painting and Calligraphy, etc. respectively took 30 minutes special subjects on Zhang Chaoxiang reported from all-faced directions.
