Joy Chiang: "People often project their own personal growth, aspirations and hopes to their child which sometimes comes across as burdensome. However it all ultimately comes from good intentions. This mixed media piece allowed me to reflect on the journey my daughter may take, that it will be filled with wonder, no linear steps and may my journey only be as a guide and support rather than a path.
