Graziano Locatelli was born in Bergamo in 1977 and began his artistic career a decade ago. In 2007, he won the second prize in the category Mixed Techniques, in the Eustachi competition, from which the works that participated in the exhibition collective held at the Art Gallery Eustachi in Milan were selected. Locatelli began his artistic production, assembling materials old and new, (re) bringing them to life to compose works that recall, without making unrealistic comparisons, the lesson of Duchamp and Man Ray. The works are pervaded by a subtle irony caused by the brilliant use of ready-made materials as trivial as bathroom or kitchen tiles. The three-dimensional and poverty of the materials used in the creation of these works begins to become a trademark as it was for the exponents of the “poor art”, of which, perhaps unconsciously, Graziano absorbed the expressiveness. In October 2012 he opened his first solo exhibition entitled ” Frankie, places the unconscious ” at the Gallery Interactions Art Gallery of Rome, while in 2013, as well as having presented a new solo exhibition, he participated in numerous group exhibitions .
