从地铁到海滨，是艺术家吴笛在位于798宏源公寓的Space Local龙口空间所进行的一次个展方式的艺术实践。此次展览三件作品在三个房间里同时呈现，既分别又统一的探讨了我们在生活的有限的现实时空和无限的精神时空之间的游走和转化。

Flash of Light 空无一物的闪耀着金色光芒的房间，带有近似宗教情绪的仪式感，把观者瞬间带入到一个独自面对自我的环境中，有限与无限，物质与非物质，自由与禁锢，空与满，都在这个看似空无一物的房间里碰撞。

苏维埃波普这只电子原音乐队在他们自己的作曲中，一直在对声音进行探索。“波形的产生与修改,音调的弱化与消除,节奏的抽象与重复,即是因果递进,亦是本末倒置;空间感的远近和度量,层次的分明和交叉,结构的有机和混沌,内聚并且耦合;声音,无时无刻不在发生着,并按固定的频率与振幅传播到各个角落,重复着消失与再生。” 这次和吴笛合作的作品是通过对空白磁带播放的声音进行提速和降速录音而制作的多轨音频。作品名称“四元数”是一个在非常态中描述数学本身但又无比正确的概念，正如这段音频在遵循着空间和时间的规则和限制内，同时具有超越空间和时间的精神力量。

吴笛和张亭合作的视频“瞬间”，梵语Ksana. 利用光线的微妙变化试图创造一种超越现实的平静，把一个潜意识与梦相柔合的情境赋示于实体。制造一个非常规的视频观看空间改变我们固有的观看角度和思维方式，试图探索当下社会产生的海量信息和高速生产对人心理和空间的挤压。

苏维埃波普，由李青和李维思组成的一个电子原音二重奏，使用模块合成器，磁带录音机和任何能发声的物体，偏好微弱的音量和声音中的细节。大体上，他们的音乐可算作标准的实验音乐，现场表演以既定结构下的即兴为主，希望表演者和观众都可以集中全部意志来捕捉声音中的能量。 重要的作品：2014， 《多瑙》，与作曲家Time Blechmann合作，SubJam出品，2014， 《寺山修司之犬》，2013 《读地图的艺术》，配乐，2013，《黄浦》，与作曲家Olaf Hochherz合作，SubJam出品，2011 《空间站音乐#1》，FuzzTape出品。

About WuDi’s solo Exhibition:

The solo exhibition From Subway to Seaside is an art practice of Wu Di in Space Local located in Hongyuan apartment in 798 Art District. The three work exhibited this time are to be simultaneously

presented in three rooms, which both separately and unitedly explores our roam and conversion within the limited reality and the infinite spiritual world of our lives. These three works are trying to make the invisible visible in a multi-dimensional space-time, enabling the audience to touch the infinite boundary of consciousness in an “experienceable” environment.

Flash of Light An empty room with golden glitter gives one the feeling of a religious ceremony, which brings the audience to a place where they face themselves alone, finite and infinite, material and immaterial, free and fettered, empty and full. All these converge in this seemly empty room.

The band Soviet Pop keeps exploring the sound in their composition of music. “The creation and modification of wave pattern, the reduction and elimination of tone, the abstraction and repetition of rhythm, are both causal and reversed; the distance and measure of the sense of space, the distinction and overlapping of levels, the organic and chaotic structure, cohesion and coupling; sounds occur all the time, and transmit to every corner with fixed frequency and amplitude, repetitively vanishing and reviving.” Wu Di’s work is to produce multi track audio by accelerating and decelerating the sounds played by a blank tape. The name “Quaternion” is a correct concept that describes mathematics in an unusual status, just like this audio, while following the rule and limits of time and space, possesses the spiritual power to transcend them.

The video “A Moment”, Sanskrit for Ksana, is a work by Wu Di and Zhang Ting. They try to use the subtle changes of lights to create a kind of peace that transcends reality, to concretize a combination of the subconscious and dream. They set up an irregular video watching space to change our usual perspectives and way of thinking, trying to explore how the overwhelming information and high speed production of contemporary society have affected people’s psychology and space.

Nowadays, the advanced technology has constantly squeezed and panelized our living time and space. While we enjoying progress, we are at the same time placed in multiple spatial realities. The three works exhibited can be viewed as one, using consciousness to explore in a multi-dimensional space-time. It takes only a moment to go from subway to seaside.

Zhang Ting, graduated from the Department of director of the Beijing Film Academy. She is MV director and visual artist now.

Soviet Pop is an Electroacoustic duo formed by Li Qing and Li Weisi.They mainly use modular synthesizers, analog tape recorder and any other objects which could make sound,to perform low-level volume and detailed, tiny music. Basically, what they are doing is simply typical Experimental Music. Their live performance is an improvisation under a composition, both performer and audience should focus their will to feel the energy of the sound.
