光绪元宝，是清朝光绪年间的货币之一。由两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷效仿。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。

Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currencies in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty. The Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, Zhang Zhidong, took the lead in introducing British minting machines to cast silver and copper coins, and all provinces followed suit. A total of 19 provincial bureaus cast copper coins, except for the central household department and the local provinces, with the provincial names inscribed on the upper edge of their front faces.

此藏品为云南省造光绪元宝库平三钱六分，正面以珠圈为界，可分为内外两个部分：珠圈上方为“云南省造”四字，下方为“库平三钱六分”六字，珠圈以内，铸有“光绪元宝”四字。

This collection is made in Yunnan province Guangxu Yuanbao Kuping San Qian. The front of the collection is bounded by a bead ring. It can be divided into two parts: the upper part of the bead ring is made in Yunnan province, the lower part is made in Kuping San Qian. Within the bead ring, the four characters Guangxu Yuanbao are cast.

藏品的背面内圈正中为蟠龙图，眼神灵异炯炯有神;龙鳞雕刻细密有致；神龙腾云驾雾，身姿遒劲有力；龙爪张扬，神武有力，尽显皇家典范。此蟠龙图是中国所有银元龙洋图案，工艺最精湛，雕工完美，浮雕感最强烈的品种之一，纹饰的相惯线非常清晰，纹路如刀刻所成，铸造工艺神乎其神。钱币的版面纹路精美，自然纯正，存世量极为稀少。

In the middle of the inner ring on the back of the collection is a picture of a coiled dragon with intense and miraculous eyes. Long Lin is finely carved. The dragon is soaring in the clouds and driving in the mist, with a strong and powerful posture. The dragon's claws are bold and powerful, showing the royal model. This flat dragon pattern is one of the most exquisite silver dollar Long Yang patterns in China, with perfect carvings and the strongest relief feeling. The lines of the patterns are very clear. The lines are carved with knives. The casting process is fantastic. Coins are exquisitely patterned, natural and pure, and rarely exist in the world.

据介绍，此云南省造光绪元宝距今已有几百年的历史，因而其整体呈现出一种岁月凝重的沧桑感。尽管如此，钱币的币面的图案依然保存完整，钱币的外圈刻有“云南省造库平三钱六分”几个楷体小字，内圈则清晰可见“光绪元宝”四个大字，整体币面造型较为分明，且布局和谐，堪称精品，收藏价值极高。
