“Winning doesn’t always mean being first. Winning means you’re doing better than you’ve ever done before,” speed skater Bonnie Blair. Although Blair was small compared to other speed skaters, she never let this prevent her from succeeding in her career.

She set several world records and dominated the sprint events at three Olympic Games (1988, 1992, and 1994), winning five gold medals and one bronze.
