自述:

 

 当下这个时代迅速的发展，人们心里的承受能力和现实的发展速度产生了距离，近而，自我的意识被物质意识逐渐所取缔,在这个过程中开始了自我消融和吞噬；作品的形式我采取的是建筑的某一局部去掉对透视的解释，无序中并发着有序的可能性，进而在二维平面的基础上用直线对空间深度的探索，错落复杂的线条也是我探索人与人之间心理复杂的诠释和对物质社会的矛盾。“忧伤”始终是我的一种情怀，人生就在痛苦和无聊之间摇摆。

邹彧所寻不止于一个讯息的传递或一个价值的实现，更是一种由当下而溯往昔，由一隅而度天地襟怀。他如探险者日复一日在他生活的天地里悄无声息地作出各种发现，开始用他个人不寻常的语言连接当下与源初，给予技术与消费时代的失忆者们以悠远的追忆——绘画犹如眼睛，一次只能居于一处，来呈现洋溢的生机与力度。
