　　CHEN QIANG—Born in an art environment, studying in Certral Conservatory of Music where he met his mentor. Mei Xiang, Chen is a Chinese artist nurtured by French classic music. As modest and seneitive as a poet, Chen’s composition absorbs both the Western and Eastern tradition. Today, he is going to play the first chapter of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympic Games. 　　LI BIA0—His artistic spirit is embodied in the exchanging tempo between time and individuals. Li Biao, life-long professor of Berlin Conservatory of Music, understands the passion and dreams behind drumbeats and expresses them in his performances. Behind his drums, he plays the sound of thunder that is also the tempo of our age.

　　GU CHANGWEI—As China’s primary cameraman, he shoots the best films of Zhang Yimou, Chen Kaige and Jiang Wen and helps them win international acclaim. Becoming a director years ago, he is good at capturing the emotional details of the Chinese. Gu’s films interpret the extraordinary Eastern aesthetic and always impress the audience by their extreme beauty.
