Serena Williams is currently the number one ranked female tennis player in the world. She turned pro at 14 years old and at 35 is still a force to be reckoned with on the court.

She has won a total of 23 grand slams titles and is the only tennis player in history to have won singles titles at least six times in three of the four Grand Slam tournaments, and the only player ever to have won 2 of the 4 Majors (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and the U.S. Open annual tennis tournaments) 7 times each (7 Wimbledon titles and 7 Australian Open titles).

Serena has also won four Olympic gold medals, one in women's singles and three in women's doubles—an all-time record shared with her sister, Venus Williams who is also a top tennis player.

Despite all of her success, she still had to push herself not to focus on her mistakes, saying, “I decided I can’t pay a person to rewind time, so I may as well get over it.”
