景德镇青花瓷是汉族传统名瓷之一。产地为江西景德镇。被人们称为人间瑰宝。始创于唐代，到明、清两代为高峰。它用氧化钴料在坯胎上描绘纹样，施釉后高温一次烧成。它蓝白相映，怡然成趣，晶莹明快，美观隽久。

 

 

青花瓷(blue and white porcelain)，又称白地青花瓷，常简称青花，是中国瓷器的主流品种之一。青花是运用天然钴料在白泥上进行绘画装饰，再罩以透明釉，然后在高温1300摄氏度上下一次烧成，使色料充分渗透于坯釉之中，呈现青翠欲滴的蓝色花纹，显得幽倩美观，明净素雅。青花是中国最具汉族民族特色的瓷器装饰，是釉下彩瓷的一种，也是中国陶瓷装饰中较早发明的方法之一。

青花瓷在各时代都有其不同的特点，现代的青花瓷既传承了古代的精巧工艺，又有创新。从功能上分，现代青花瓷大致可分为三种:日用瓷、仿古瓷、艺术瓷。在装饰形式上，青花还经常与釉里红、颜色釉、粉彩、古彩、新彩、玲珑等形式结合起来，相互衬托而形成青花斗彩(瓷器上的蓝色部分先直接在胎上施青花釉并留白，上釉烧成后再用釉上彩料彩绘其留白部分，最后再次入炉烘烧)、青花釉里红(以氧化铜在瓷胎上绘制图纹后施以透明釉，并在高温还原焰中烧成，纹饰在釉下呈现红色)等种类。

景德镇陶瓷的工艺有72道工序，而青花瓷的工艺跟景德镇普通陶瓷的工艺大体相当，青花瓷尤为珍贵源于其绘画艺术设计的文化内涵和艺术特质，青花瓷的成功率，源于很多细节，青花的发色，窑温，釉面厚度，釉料的选择等等，众多的因素造成了青花瓷的成功率很低，弥足珍贵。
