广东省造双龙寿字光绪元宝，此币铸于光绪三十一年(1905)初，为纪念慈禧六十寿辰而铸。张炯伯在《广东省造银币》一文中写道：“惟本品因未纪年，殊难遽断，然观其图案，谐作福寿，环绕双龙，幕无英文，意含颂祝，大异常制。由此以推，成为纪念币之一种，专铸以祝慈禧太后六旬万寿者也。”无论历史事实如何，“广东双龙寿字银币”在中国近代官铸机制银币中的独特地位是毋庸置疑的，其珍罕性和极高的收藏价值是泉界所一致公认的。

此枚钱币正面铸有铭文，顶部铸楷体“广东省造”四字，底部铸货币价值“库平重壹两”，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字，币中心为满文“光绪元宝”。背面两条神龙纹路清晰，如刀刻所成，铸造工艺神乎其技，且龙身纹路精美，并有云海衬托，看上去仿佛是一幅神龙翱翔天际画，极其精致。此币包浆入骨，熟旧自然，深打字口清楚，流通痕迹明显，龙鳞清晰，具有极高的投资价值和收藏价值。
