Taiwan Ruyi military service in 1853. Taiwan Ruyi silver cake was first built in Qing Xianfeng in three years (1853), and it is the second silver coin issued by China. On the front are the design of the treasure bowl and the precious tree, and the back is a cross shaped Ganoderma. Cake making is simple and attractive, and silver is over 98%. Unfortunately, the common custom at that time was to use printing to test the authenticity. Although it had been issued for only a few years, it had been used for a long time until the Guangxu period. Therefore, the face of the cake was not always seen. It was called "raking silver" or "rotten board".
Judging from the physical findings, Taiwan was the first province to produce silver cakes. During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, Taiwan cast a silver cake with longevity as the positive pattern, commonly known as "longevity silver cake", which was the earliest among all kinds of silver cakes. The coin has a longevity star pattern on the front and center, with eight characters of seal book "Daoguangnian casting" and "footprint silver cake" on the left and right sides, and the chronological characters "Kupingzhao" on the bottom; a treasure tripod pattern on the back and four characters of Manchu "Taiwanese Manchu casting" on the outer ring. The side road is "Wen".
Like the image above, it was called "Husband Silver" in that period. In mainland China, it was also commonly called "Old Life Star". On the left, it was inscribed "Daoguangnian Casting", "Foot-grain Silver Cake" on the right, and on the bottom, it was inscribed "Kupingzhao". This coin is different from others. It is a kind of gold coin, and its value is not comparable to that of ordinary silver coins.
There is a treasure trough in the middle of this side. Looking around the Manchu Manchu, which is "cast in Taiwan Manchu Manchu Manchu Manchu", like the common distinguished husband, silver and silver coins nowadays, this gold-smelting process was also a model coin at that time. After making it as a prototype, it was completely recycled and not used. Therefore, it is still well-preserved. The value of collection is huge.
This old gold gilt sample is heavy: 25.3g diameter: 4cm. As a Taiwan silver coin, a layer of gold on the outside makes it more valuable than ordinary Taiwan silver cakes. Such a rare gold-like coin is not a circulating coin in the Daoguang period at that time. It has very few deposits and very high collection value.
