作品故事：我喜欢并熟悉这些“声光电”的综合材料，所以我对这些科技材料与其产品所产生的话题比较敏感，比如互联网时代的智能手机、电脑等智能产品，它们的确是个很好的工具，为什么又会有“低头族”和“网瘾”这一说法呢？是我们在操作工具，还是机器在超控我们？所以我运用传统造型的塑造方式创作了一组被机械、程序控制的“手”，警醒人们不能被现代工业驯化成为无自主意识的工具，作品以诙谐的方式希望可以引发人们对当代社会人与物的反思。 Elaboration: I am intrigued and familiar with these integrated materials of “sound, light and electricity”, so I am sensitive to the topics generated from these technological materials and their products. For example, intelligent electronic products in the internet era like smart phones and computers are indeed very useful tools, but why there are sayings like “phubbers” and “internet addiction”? Do we manipulate tools or in reverse? Therefore, using the tradition modeling methods and getting inspiration from traditional Chinese sculpture figures, I create a set of “hands” which is controlled by machines and programs to remind us that we cannot be domesticated to be tools without independent consciousness by modern industry. This work is created in an ironical way with the hope to arouse our reflection on humans and things in modern society.
