我从小爱画，是一个爱画画的中国小孩，现在是一个画了一辈子画的中国老头。

　　我又偏爱油彩，选择画油彩，并与其一生为伴，因为油彩可以让我自由地表达自己的意愿，从而成为易与人交流的艺术形式。

　　油彩诞生在欧洲，成长在欧洲，我国前辈艺术家都想将其完美地移植到中国，变为我们民族艺术的奇葩。然而这不是单纯的模仿，需要融合、消化、再创造的艰难历程。

　　作为中国画家，画中国人喜闻乐见的油画，便成为我追求、探索的使命，若能为构建中国油画庙堂添砖加瓦，此生足矣!

　　我不是学者，无力研究深奥的美学理论，只能凭借自己一个再普通不过的中国人的直觉，表达中国普通人的爱美之心、审美的价值观而已。

　　此本画集是近十年中的部分画作，在各方朋友支持、协助下编辑而成，在此一并感谢，同时也是自己生命的连缀与展现，为踏上新旅程，期待聆听各界朋友赐教，将感激之至。

　　Talk About My Painting Wang Changkai

　　I love painting since I was very young, I was a Chinese kid who love painting, now I am a Chinese old man whohas been painting for all my life.

　　I have a preference for oil painting, I chose oil painting and spend my life with it, because oil painting could enableme to freely express my will, so as to become a way of art to easily communicate with people.

　　Oil painting originated from Europe and grew up in Europe, older generation of Chinese artists all wanted to perfectly transplant it to China, making it become a special flower of Chinese art. However, this is not purely imitation, it's a difficult process of integration, digestion and recreation.

　　As a Chinese painter, to paint oil paintings that are liked by Chinese people become a mission I seek and explore, if I could contribute something to Chinese oil painting, I will have no regret in my life!

　　I'm not a scholar, I can't research the deep aesthetic theory, I can only use my most common Chinese instinct to express a beauty-loving-heart of a common Chinese people, and my aesthetic standard.

　　This album includes some of my paintings in recent 10 years, and it is generated under the support and assistance of many friends, I hereby thank them for this, meanwhile it's the continuation and reflection of my life, to step on new ground, I can't wait to hear opinions from my friends, thank you very much.
