　　Like Andrew Wyeth (July 12, 1917- January 16, 2009), Guo Changxin is a realist painter and a visual artist.

　　Unlike some of the paintings by Andrew Wyeth that show a badge of surrealism, some of the paintings by Guo Changxin consist of the impressionist style.

　　Now at the age of seventy, having lived all of his life in China, I do believe it is time for the world to recognize the importance of Mr. Guo’s paintings in that they show genuine human affections and emotions.
