　　萌动，是开始，明，李贽《征途与共后语》：“盖生死念头尚未萌动，故世间参禅学道之夫，亦只如此而止矣。”

　　萌动，是发生，思想开始产生新的，全新的想法在活跃出来，有创新与新生的效果。

　　《萌动》，创作于2015年，这一年程亚杰在天津美术馆举办《心灵的交换》个人画展，展出八十余幅作品，此时拉斯维加斯画派已经在程亚杰心中笔下酝酿了许久，从苏式学院派、法国印象派、欧美古典主义，立体主义及维也纳幻想写实画派，经历了四十年的积累，终于一个全新的创作思想，一个全新的艺术流派，开始萌动，这就是拉斯维加斯画派。拉斯维加斯画派即将厚积薄发，喷薄而出，这是程亚杰创作这幅作品的动机和寓意。

　　拉斯维加斯画派是一个不同于程亚杰以往创作风格的抽象画派，融合了20世纪艺术流派艺术运动的思想和成果，这幅作品也应用了抽象表现主义理念，讲究画笔的手势动作以表现颜料的质感，讲究用大片的统一的色形色块表达抽象的符号和形象。画面的底色有着传统意味的灰色，高贵典雅，而且故意露出画布的底纹，感觉出质朴与返朴归真；大海的蓝色，成熟、忧郁、忧患而保持理想的基调；点点的红、绿、棕。。。表达浪漫和生机盎然；画面的印象风格和抒情笔法，有着曾经沧海难为水，除却巫山不是云的人生意境和情怀。。。如果参观过1951年开始在美国现代艺术博物馆举行的名为《美国抽象绘画和雕塑》，后来在欧洲八个国家巡展的作品，对《萌动》会发出会心的微笑：这是一幅创新的抽象印象主义和抒情抽象的作品。

　　《萌动》公诸于世是在2016年8月，在美国内华达州撒哈拉市立图书馆美术馆成功举办的程亚杰《拉斯维加斯艺术交响曲》画展上，并收录在同名画册156页，正是这个画展宣告程亚杰领衔的拉斯维加斯画派诞生。

　　《萌动》创作之后的2016年，和刚刚跨入的2017年，拉斯维加斯风格作品在程亚杰的笔下手中开始源源而出，大有直挂云帆济沧海 长风破浪会有时的生命力和恢弘气势展示于世界艺术之林。

 An Appreciation of Cheng Yajie’s Imagery Oil Painting Budding

　　The term “bud” referring to beginning is quoted from “The idea of life and death has not yet been budded, so those who practice meditation and study Tao can just reach this point” in Epilogue of the Journey together written by Li Zhi, a famous writer in Ming Dynasty.

　　Bud also means producing new ideas. All the bran-new ideas are expressed with an effect of innovation and rebirth.

　　Budding was created in 2015 during which Cheng Yajie held his solo exhibition of “An Inspirational Exchange” in Tianjin Art Museum and exhibited more than eighty pieces of works. Las Vegas has been fermented in the artist’s inner heart for a long time. After having learned from Soviet academism, French impressionism, European and American classicism, cubism as well as Vienna fantasy realism for forty years, Cheng Yajie finally set up the painting school of Las Vegas which is a new creation idea and a new genre of art as well. The painting school of Las Vegas is going to rise abruptly based on its accumulated strength, which is the motivation and implication of this painting.

　　The painting school of Las Vegas, differing from Cheng Yajie’s abstract painting school with previous artistic styles, integrates the thoughts and achievements of various painting schools and art movements in the twentieth century. This painting also applies the concept of abstract art and expressionism, stresses the gesture of using a brush to display the texture of pigments, and pays great attention to expressing abstract symbols and image with unified color-blocks. The traditional gray, which is noble and elegant, deliberately exposes canvas shading, leaving us a feeling of simplicity. Blue, the color of sea, creates an idea mood of maturity, melancholy and misery. Red, green, brown and the rest colors display a romantic and lively picture. The styles of impressionism and lyric imply a feeling of “No water's enough when you have crossed the sea; no cloud is beautiful but that which crowns the peak”. If you have watched the paintings exhibited in the “Abstract Painting and Sculpture in America” exhibition held in the Museum of Modern Art and later exhibited in the tour to eight countries in Europe, you will smile with understanding that this is a piece of innovated work with styles of abstract impressionism and lyric when you see Budding.

　　Budding was known to the world through Cheng Yajie “Las Vegas Symphony of Art” exhibition held in Sahara West Library Studio Gallery in Nevada, the United States in August, 2016, and later was included in a painting album of the same name on page 156. This exhibition declared the birth of the painting school of Las Vegas led by Cheng Yajie.

　　From 2016 after Budding was created to 2017, Cheng Yajie has created a lot of works with the style of Las Vegas, showing great vitality and momentum in the world of art.
