拾萬空间将于2016年12月24日呈现蒋竹韵个展“风中絮语”。展览共由四组作品组成，围绕声音在不同环境中的传播展开。作品将借助“风”这种自然介质，打开一条关于“如何去感受”的通道。

　　展览共呈现四种不同的感受形态：身体的声音、想象中的马、听不到的存在以及消失的声音。区别于常规视觉作品的带入方式，这四组作品并没有通过确切的图像去表达观念，艺术家希望通过声音媒介将观众引入到一种情境当中，以开启人的身体自有的反应机制，这便与常规视觉作品对观众的刺激和覆盖产生了距离。因而，感知蒋竹韵的作品就如我们用身体去捕捉“风”的存在一般：“风”一直都在，如若不去身感意会，它便容易被忽视。而蒋竹韵的四组作品便是打开身体部分机能与意识的路径，就如我们去例证“风”的存在——会通过(常态下的)树动，树动因风不止。

　　蒋竹韵作品横跨新媒体艺术的多个领域，创作和研究方向涉及多种形态：装置、绘画、行为、观念、声音艺术、田野录音以及Audio Visual现场等。他一直善于发现基于硬件和程序系统之间的诗意，同时在音乐节和livehouse现场中，也都曾演绎过他的声音和影像作品。

　　拾萬空间成立于2014年，位于草场地艺术区211号院。拾萬空间对常规意义的方盒子展览保持警惕，从当代艺术语言中的语法和语意结构出发并延展到更广泛的领域;希望通过持续的展览和项目，激发出当下文化中被忽视的部分，将当代艺术思想的价值生发到你我的身边。

　　Hunsand Space is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Jiang Zhuyun, I Talk to The Wind, on December 24, 2016. This exhibition features four individual pieces of works and unfolds from how sound travels through different situations. The art works will open up a unique way of feeling by using wind as a natural and metaphorical medium.

　　The exhibition offers four different forms of sensation: a bodily sound, an imaginary horse, an inaudible being, and a disappearing sound. Unlike how visual art works usually engage, the four works presented here don’t employ distinct imagery to communicate concepts, instead, the artist wants to use sound as a medium to lead the audiences into a particular context, and to open up the visceral reactions rooted in one’s physical perceptions—an approach that deviates from the conventional visual stimulations. Thus, to grasp Jiang Zhuyun’s works is like to capture the existence of wind: it is only made present through imagining and experiencing the subtleties in the surroundings. In this sense, these four works by Jiang Zhuyun provide a path to access a kind of perceptual consciousness, as if to witness the physical existence of wind through the rustling leaves: the whisper of the wind is only heard through trees.

　　Jiang Zhuyun is an interdisciplinary artist who works in various new media fields. His artistic research and practice extends from painting, installation, performance, and conceptual art, to sound art, field recording, and audio visual art. He is keen to the underlying poetic language between electronic hardware and system programming. He has also performed audiovisual works in many music festivals and live houses.

　　Hunsand Space, founded in 2014, is located in No. 211 Cao Chang Di Art District. Hunsand Space, remaining vigilant towards regular cube-shaped exhibitions, is hoping to extend the current syntax and semantics of contemporary art expressions to a wider aspect. Through our ongoing exhibitions and projects, we aim at stimulating an exploration of the neglected present culture and to bring the merit of contemporary art ideology to you and me.
