“清代五帝钱”，是清朝最兴盛的五位帝王（顺治、康熙、雍正、乾隆和嘉庆）在位期间所铸造的古钱。这五位帝王在位期间国势昌盛且五代相连，相继在位达到180年，而中国传统文化中有“五世其昌”的说法。其他的朝代并没有如此这样五位相连的皇帝，故只有这清五帝的铜钱才成为小五帝钱。
