韦加的表现性笔法一直是他画面最触目的视觉表达，狂放恣肆，真气弥漫。他的图像往往是人物肖像、怀孕天使等具象题材。对强调绘画性的韦加而言，具象题材首先是一个的标靶。据此，他通过形状与色彩的反复涂改、覆盖和修正，淋漓尽致地释放并挥发着自己的感性冲动。性情所至，画面的力量感和整体感犹如浑然天成，顿然彰显。其次，韦加的具象题材并不直接交待场景和内容，拥有一定的隐喻性，给人多种联想。他的图像始终承载着对人性的追问，以及对绘画精神性的某种追求。

 

Wei Jia’s expressive brushwork is the most attracting visual expression of his painting, which is wild and unrestrained, free and natural. His paintings are mostly based on representational images like portraits and pregnant angel. For Wei Jia, the representational theme is firstly a target. On this basis, he thoroughly release and express his perceptual impulse through painting, covering and correcting shapes and colors repeatedly. His fully disposition makes his paiting full of force and wholeness, like nature itself. Sencondly, Wei Jia’s representational subject has metaphorical sense as the scene and contents are not made clear directly, which make people have associations. His paintings are full of inquuiries about humanity and pursuit of spiritual paiting.
