韦加的作品荡漾着来自于北方的浪漫主义色彩，且毫不掩饰人对自身的厌恶和无时不有的恐惧。当观众第一次步入他的油画前，会立即被充满张力的形象、浓郁的色调、和无休止的线条所征服。而当你挺过片刻的窒息，一种近乎于古希腊悲剧的美感和崇高感瞬间将你带入忘我的境界。

 

Wei Jia’s paintings reveal kind of Northern romanticism while not hesitant to magnify the horror and the felling of disgusting toward human body.  When anyone enters his painting, he or she could be immediately overwhelmed with Wei Jia’s expanded imageries, rich colors and restless lines.  After holding breath for a moment, one would be immersed in the beauty and sublimity that we experience in the ancient Greek tragedy.
