木木美术馆馆藏艺术家卡德尔·阿提亚(Kader Attia)、奥拉维尔·埃利亚松(Olafur Eliasson)、乔治·格里法(Giorgio Griffa)、 郝量、黎清妍(Firenze Lai)、刘野及2017展览艺术家周涛入选2017年威尼斯双年展参展艺术家名单。作为两年一度的世界艺术盛事，第57届威尼斯双年展将于2017年5月13至11月26日在威尼斯举行，本届双年展由克里斯汀·马萨尔(Christine Macel)策展，主题为“艺术万岁”(Viva Arte Viva)。

M WOODS is delighted to hear that many of the artists represented in our collection have been selected for the central exhibition at this year’s Venice Biennale, organized by Christine Macel. One of the most prestigious events in the art world calendar, the Biennale will open May 13 and run through November 2017. M WOODS would like to congratulate Kader Attia, Olafur Eliasson, Giorgio Griffa, Hao Liang, Firenze Lai, Liu Ye, and Zhou Tao on their inclusion.

卡德尔·阿提亚 Kader Attia

木木美术馆自开馆以来持续关注法国艺术家卡德尔·阿提亚，并藏有艺术家在2012年卡塞尔文献展中重要作品Open Your Eyes以及现今在美术馆建筑外墙悬挂的霓虹灯装置作品We Want to be Modern。2016年10月，阿提亚获得了法国重要奖项之一的法国马赛尔杜尚奖，该奖项由法国艺术国际传播协会（ADIAF）和蓬皮杜艺术中心于2000年联合创建。

M WOODS has been a long time supporter of French artist Kader Attia, acquiring Open Your Eyes, a highlight of Documenta 2012, and We Want to be Modern, a neon installation permanently installed on the museum’s façade. In October 2016 it was announced that Attia won France’s most celebrated art prize, the Prix Marcel Duchamp.

In its 2016 collection show All Means Are Sacred, M WOODS presented Attraction, an installation work created by the Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. Widely renowned for awe-inspiring environmental installations, Attraction represents one of the artists more quietly powerful works.

M WOODS owns multiple works by Italian master Giorgio Griffa. Often associated with the Arte Povera movement, Griffa’s paintings are made on unstretched canvas and subsequently folded to take on sculptural dimensions.

现工作于北京的艺术家郝量专注于中国传统绘画，坚持传统绢本水墨。2015年，郝量参与了木木美术馆对于当代绘画的研究项目并将自己的收藏借展木木美术馆2016展览《林间空地》。

Beijing based painter Hao Liang works with media associated with traditional Chinese art, such as painting on silk. Hao was included in the 2015 survey of contemporary painting at M WOODS, and lent works from his own collection to our exhibition All Means are Sacred.

木木美术馆持续关注香港艺术家黎清妍，在2015年木木美术馆展览《险怪：绘画的普世性》中展出了多件黎清妍的作品。

M WOODS has closely followed the career of Hong Kong based painter Firenze Lai, acquiring a group of her paintings and presenting these in ‘Full of Peril and Weirdness: Painting as Universalism’ at M WOODS in 2015.

Liu Ye is a renowned Beijing based painter. The M WOODS collection has seven key pieces from throughout the artist’s career, which have featured in two of the museum’s past exhibitions.

木木美术馆将于2017年10月呈现广州艺术家周涛的个展。我们非常荣幸的能够呈现艺术家的代表影像作品系列，本次展览将是周涛在国内的首个个展，也是木木美术馆的首个为中国艺术家举办的个人展览。

M WOODS will present a solo exhibition dedicated to the work of Guangzhou based artist Zhou Tao, opening in October 2017. The exhibition will be the artist’s first exhibition at a public institution in his home country, and also the first solo exhibition by a Chinese artist at M WOODS.

木木美术馆将于2017年春季举办艺术家克里斯托弗·伊沃雷（1967 - 2013 ）的回顾展览。这将是伊沃雷在亚洲举办的第一场博物馆级展览，也是其在欧洲及北美以外的第一场个展。木木美术馆展览《克里斯 托弗·伊沃雷：哀歌》将展出这位法国艺术家职业生涯中多个阶段的绘画作品，跨度涵盖艺术家早期对空间的探索至47岁去世前创作的厚涂花卉作品。

《克里斯托弗·伊沃雷：哀歌》由雷宛萤(晚晚)策展，是木木美术馆继《安迪·沃霍尔：接触》（2016.08.06– 2017.01.07）之后，以“挖掘新兴艺术家的同时，为知名艺术家的作品带来新思考”为使命系列的第二场重要展览。

In Spring 2017, M WOODS will present a retrospective exhibition of the work of artist Cristof Yvoré (1967 – 2013). It will be the first ever museum exhibition of Yvoré’s work in Asia, as well as the artist’s first solo exhibition outside of Europe and North America. Cristof Yvoré: An Ode at M WOODS will present paintings from many stages of the French painter’s career, ranging from his early experiments with space to the heavily impastoed floral works he made before his death at the age of 47.

Curated by Wanwan Lei, Cristof Yvoré: An Ode is the second in a series of major solo exhibitions at M WOODS, whose mission is to promote emerging or overlooked artists while illuminating new perspectives on established ones. The first exhibition in this M WOODS series was Andy Warhol: Contact (August 6, 2016 – January 7, 2017).
