香格纳艺术家欧阳春携绘画作品与艺术家Oscar Murillo，Yutaka Sone于2017年1月14日在伦敦开幕的Condo项目中联合展出。此次合作展览的设想源自艺术家Oscar Murillo来访中国时与欧阳春的作品的一次偶遇，这次邂逅使其对欧阳春的作品印象深刻。正值Condo 2017年的全球项目，Oscar响应Condo项目的核心要素，邀请欧阳春以及Yutaka Sone共同参加由他策划的展览。该展览已于昨日开幕，收效非凡。展览将持续至2月11日。

Shanghart artist Ouyang Chun is presented at Condo 2017 together with Oscar Murrilo and Yutaka sone at Carlos/ISHIKAWA which opened on 14 Jan.This cooperation was originated from Murillo’s trip in China, he encountered Ouyang Chun's works once and left an enormous impression. Rising with the opportunity of Condo 2017, Oscar resonated to the essential element of the Condo Project to invite Ouyang Chun and Yutaka Sone to participate the exhibition curated by him. This exhibition officially opened yesterday in London, and received a positive feedback. The exhibition is on view till 11 Feb.

Condo项目是由瓦内莎·卡洛斯发起，该项目源自‘公寓’一词，是一个由36家国际画廊在伦敦15家画廊空间集体呈现的大规模联合展览。本次展览中，伦敦的主场画廊们通过与来访画廊共享自己的空间的形式展出——既可以是与到访画廊共同策展一个展览，或是划分画廊空间并分配给不同的画廊举办各自的展览。

The project takes its name from ‘condominium’, initiated by Vanessa Carlos and is a large-scale collaborative exhibition of 36 international galleries across 15 London spaces. London galleries host the show by sharing their spaces with visiting galleries – either by co-curating an exhibition together, or dividing their galleries and allocating spaces.

The inspiration of this work draws from the street prostitutes Ouyang Chun saw while he was wandering on the streets in the city years ago. What caught his eyes was those flying moths around the street light under which those prostitutes stood. In Chinese, the idiom “moths into flames” means “irresistibly and dangerously attracted to something or someone even it may end with destruction and death”. To Ouyang Chun, the street view at that moment was a depiction of the surrender to life and social inferiority.

这件作品的灵感来源于数年前欧阳春在城市街道中游荡时看到的妓女。妓女们头顶的路灯中那些四散的飞蛾吸引了他的注意力。在中国‘飞蛾扑火’这句成语比喻‘被一些东西、或者人无可抑制、危险地吸引，即使这种行为可能会招致自身的摧毁或者死亡’。对于欧阳春来说，此刻的街景正生动地描绘着对人生以及社会底层挣扎的无奈屈从。

Condo项目一部分是关于评估现存模型，同时也关于合并资源并集体实践一种国际展览“节日”。它为实验性画廊展览提出了一种在国际范围内运作的更行之有效的环境。同时它也宣传一种全然不同于通过一篇博客或者穿梭于走道间快速观看大量艺术品的方式。该项目致力于画廊以及艺术家之间的彼此慷慨共生，也惠及所有的观众以及每个展览发生的城市。

Condo is partly about evaluating existing models, and also about pooling resources and acting communally to have a kind-of ‘festival’ of international exhibitions. It proposes an environment that is more conducive/feasible for experimental gallery exhibitions to take place internationally, and promotes a slower way of seeing a lot of art that isn’t blasting through a blog or aisle.This project aims for galleries and artists to be generous towards each other, and towards the audience and the city where it takes place.
