2015年10月30日至2015年11月16日，位于南京的江苏省现代美术馆将举办一场盛大的展览。此次展览得到了江苏省文学艺术联合会的支持，将在现代美术馆1、2、3号展厅展出卡萝琳 • 塔培奴的作品。这是现代美术馆首次给一位艺术家的展览提供不少于3000平米的展出面积!博物馆和江苏的艺术团体都积极行动，准备迎接这位瑞士艺术家的到来，艺术家本人也不遗余力。事实上，卡萝琳在瑞士的工作室已为这个展览项目工作了数月，目前她已来到南京，落实并确保展览工作的完成。卡萝琳 • 塔培奴习惯于在受邀工作的场所“实地”完成她的作品。她会观察建筑、光线、衔接，考虑空间之间的协调性。她的作品是如此回答的，是与这些要素的对话。观众在欣赏她的作品时也能将自身带入其中：光线和空气会随人的移动而改变，由此产生作品无穷尽的转换。卡萝琳 • 塔培奴为三个展厅分别设计了壮观的作品。艺术家想象了雕塑、画作的不同组合，发光的活动的布局。参观路线从三号厅开始，入口安放了直径18米的环形装置，一个镜面迷宫，从这个迷宫可以到达中心点。参观者失去空间标记，旅行由此开始，卡萝琳 • 塔培奴的世界缓缓展开。2号厅由两个发光发声的装置组成，将参观者带入一个隐秘、冥想的空间。影子与光线的舞蹈将我们带到梦幻世界。最后的1号厅结束整个展览，展厅呈现了一系列的画作, 活动的“曼荼罗”雕塑，以及由凝固的水滴构成的装置。艺术家构建了一个想象的水世界。本次展览是进入卡萝琳 • 塔培奴世界的邀请函，将成为一次难忘的经历

　　CAROLINE TAPERNOUX EXHIBITION

　　31th OCTOBER 2015 / 16th NOVEMBER 2015

　　MODEN ART MUSEUM, JIANGSU – NANJING

　　This is an exhibition event that the Jiangsu Modern Art Museum in Nanjing will

　　be hosting from 31th October to 16th November. Supported by the «­Literary and

　　Artistic clubs of the Nanjing Province­». Caroline Tapernoux’s work will be presented in Halls 1,2 and 3 of the museum. It is effectively the first time that the museum has chosen to dedicate around3 000m2 a one single artist and her

　　installations!

　　The museum and all Jiangsu’s artistic community have therefore worked closely

　　together to make this Swiss artist welcome and she herself hasn’t spared any

　　effort either.

　　In fact, after having worked for several months on the project in her Swiss

　　workshop, she came to Nanjing add the fi nal touches and to make sure the

　　production ran smoothly.

　　Caroline Tapernoux is quite used to creating her artworks «­in situ­» in the places

　　where she has been invited to work. She observes the architecture, the light, the way the various spaces link up and fall into each other. Her work reflects a response to this, it’s a kind of dialogue between these elements.

　　The spectator also plays a part in her artworks­: light and air move with the visitor

　　as he passes by resulting in an endless transformation of the art works. Caroline Tapernoux has therefore designed a monumental style artworks specific to each of the 3 halls. The artist has put together a mixture of sculptures, paintings, light installations and mobiles.

　　The visit stars in Hall 3 with a round installation of 18m in diameter on the

　　ground, a maze of mirrors which we can walk through right to the central point.

　　The visitor soon loses his sense of direction and thus the journey begins and

　　Caroline Tapernoux’s universe unfolds......

　　In Hall 2 there are two light and sound installations which allow the visitor to dive

　　right into a private world of contemplation. The play on shadow and light takes us

　　into a dream world.

　　Finally Hall 1 closes the exhibition with a series of paintings, the «­Mandala­»

　　mobile sculptures as well as an installation made up of fixed drops of water. The

　　artist has composed a landscape of an imaginary aquatic world.

　　This exhibition is an invitation into Caroline Tapernoux’s universe and is an

　　unforgettable experience.
