华夏民族有着5000多年的历史文明，钱币在此期间也得到了蓬勃的发展，在清朝时期，钱币铸造工艺已经发展到了一定的程度，但因着清朝政府的不作为，国内钱币市场极其混乱，也正是在这期间，许许多多的外国货币在我国货币市场上流通，其中，鹰洋币、坐洋币、站洋币、龙洋币是当时市场上流通的外国货币主要四大种类，学名：法属印度支那贸易银圆，俗称坐洋，为清末民初在华流通的外国银圆之一。

 坐洋币，又称法属印度支那贸易银圆，为清末在华流通的外国银圆之一。藏品币正面为自由女神坐像，背面的装饰图案为麦穗，法文有“贸易银元”和“法属印度支那”等。法属印度支那1皮阿斯特贸易银元属于1元型银币，该币的正面为自由女神坐像，两侧是法文“REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE”(法兰西共和国)，下方是发行年份1901;背面为麦穗花环，花环上方铸法文“FRANCAISE INDO-CHINE”(法兰西印度支那)，中间是法文“PIASTRE DE COMMERCE”(皮阿斯特贸易银)。在闽南民间人们根据其币面图案形象称其为“坐洋”“坐人”等。这些外国银元材质珍贵，艺术价值高，由贵重金属或白银合金铸造，制作精美，图案考究，文字清秀，内容丰富，银光灿烂，其貌可人，也具有一定的保值和升值功能。随着收藏投资热的不断升温，银元在钱币市场中异常火爆，今后极大可能成为收藏投资领域中的一匹“黑马”。

Sitting in foreign currency, also known as French Indian zhina trade silver dollar, was one of the foreign silver dollars circulating in China in the late Qing Dynasty.  The coins in the collection have a statue of the Statue of Liberty on the front and wheat ears on the back. In French, there are "trade silver dollar" and "French Indian zhina" etc.  French Indian zhina 1 piaster trade silver dollar belongs to the 1 yuan silver coin. The front of the coin is the Statue of Liberty with French "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE" on both sides and the year 1901 below.  On the back is a garland of wheat ears. Above the garland is cast a French "FRANCAISE INDO-CHINE" (zhina, India, France). In the middle is a French "PIASTRE DE COMMERCE" (Piaste Trade Bank).  In southern Fujian, folk people call it "sitting on the ocean" and "sitting on the people" according to the image of their coins.  These foreign silver coins are made of precious materials and have high artistic value. They are made of precious metals or silver alloys. Silver coins represent China's modern monetary culture and reflect the ups and downs and vicissitudes of China's modern history, economy and finance.  As early as the middle of the Ming Dynasty, Spain had already made "Ben Yang" silver coins (commonly known as "Shuangzhu") in Mexico. 坐洋 ”的主币“壹圆”的铸造时间从1885年开始，法属印度支那贸易银圆，俗称坐洋，为清末民初在华流通的外国银圆之一。银币正面为自由女神坐像，背面的装饰图案为麦穗，法文有“贸易银元”和“法属印度支那”等。
