高速形式 #5是本次展览六组静态影像作品之一。汽车上真实大小的骏马展现了本次展览重要的动物意象之一。马是被淘汰的前工业时代的交通工具之一，它站到了汽车的上方。马与车的并置让人想到了福特汽车的创始人亨利·福特的名言：“如果我最初问消费者他们想要什么，他们会告诉我，一匹更快的马！” 借此，艺术家提出了对工业时代以来加速生产与消费现象的思考。

High-Speed Forms #5 is one of the six digital images in the High-Speed Forms exhibition. The life-size horse on the car presents one of the important animal images in this exhibition. The horse was one of the pre-industrial vehicles that was eliminated. The juxtaposition of horse and car reminds of the famous quote of Ford's founder, Henry Ford: "If I asked consumers what they wanted initially, they would tell me a faster horse!" With this, the artist’s thoughts on the phenomenon of accelerated production and consumption since the industrial age are put forward.

2019年10月19日，张鼎个展“高速形式”在OCAT上海馆新空间开幕。展览呈线性单一走向，回顾张鼎在十五年创作时间内出现过的数个重要主题及意象。以下为部分作品介绍，请关注微信公众平台后续更新。

展览“高速形式”的主体作品是一件全景式的大型动态装置——《高速形式 #1》。装置以一种松散的方式模拟了各地高速公路提供的日常、庸碌景观。

《高速形式 #2》是带有强烈张鼎个人风格的“情绪雕塑”装置。“情绪雕塑”是能整体调动观众各个感官的雕塑作品。

《高速形式 #3》是为赛道提供视觉景观、再现并干扰现场速度经验的影像作品。

《高速形式 #4》是宝座形态的汽车座椅，支柱顶部有两只金色犀牛，象征了“灰犀牛”概念与日常驾驶实践的同质关系。
