作品故事：回响室 特殊制造工艺使瓷石内部中空，漂浮在水面并随着水流撞击发声，试图改变人们对平日习惯了的石，以及陶瓷展示方式的认识。 \"石本无感，因人而有所感\"，其所触人的不在于物性，它只是一个品味世相的媒介。石与流水共奏，创造一种天人合一的意境，\"发声\"亦将真实的碰撞展现得淋漓尽致。碰撞在瓷石内的空腔，在每块石头间，在静谧的山谷里，亦或是观念上的撞击，望能通过作品将一些无形的反响展现出来。进入\"文化\"领域的石 常与各地宗教神学联系在一起，在中国文化中也有着独特的位置:欣赏石，潜藏着中国人反人工秩序的思 想。石的秩序就是天的秩序— 以无秩序为秩序。此刻石漂动、撞击的异象，比对古时所推崇的石之怪，质疑正常理 性;推石之无用、爱石之朴的思想，似也生出同工异曲的意味。对观者而言，不论是孩童、青少年、未曾对所谓艺术感兴趣的成年人，乃至一生未曾出过山村的老人，他们看来石亘古不变的自然属性此时却被打破了，同样都产生好奇，生发感触。这不起眼的石却是普遍的，无论哪个地区民族的人都见过它，这也是我想挖掘的普遍性的人生体验。 Introduction to Shi Ziyuan\'s Artworks Echo Chamber The ceramic stones are hollowed by unique technique, which enable it to float on the water and clink each other. It is a trial to change people\'s stereotypes of stones and ceramics exhibitions. \"Stone is imperceptive essentially, people make it perceptible\", thus it isn\'t its physical property that moves people, because it is only one of the medium to touch the world. While the clinking stones and the babbling running water engender the artistic conception of the unity of universe and mankind, the \"sound production\" reflects the real collision completely. The collision happens inside the stone, between each stone, in the quiet valley even in people\'s minds, which is expected to be shown intangibly. In the \"cultural\" field, stone usually relates with religion divinity in many places and stands for special meaning in Chinese culture. Stone appreciation indicates the admiration to the crude nature order. The order to stone is exactly to the universe, in which disarray is order. In ancient China, people questioned normal reason but loved the useless, plain, irregular stone. This idea and the floating and clinking stone in this artwork seems singing different songs with equal skill. People would be curious and moved when they find their stereotypes to stone were broken, no matter children, youths, adults who are never interested in art or the olds who spend their whole life in the village. Unspectacular as stone is, it is the most widespread substance to people in any region, which is the normal experience I want to explore in my artwork.
