运动是物质的存在最根本的形式及其固有属性,是在时空中的线性迁移。

Movement is the most essential form and the innate nature of the matter existence, also the linear-transfer in space-time.

在持续运动的过程中,会出现抽离现实的存在感,产生碎片化的思考,思维在无序的瞬间转移中循环。在主观意识行动的同时,身体偶尔脱离意识进行自身运动,让运动本身出现视觉化的呈现。

In the process of continuous movement, existence beyond reality comes out, fragmented thought emerges, the mind circulates in a un-ordered instant transfer. While the movement is controlled by the subjective consciousness, the body can sometimes move by itself without awareness, the movement expresses visually.

“线性运动”不是抽象绘画,它没有在抽象绘画语言中遵循某种逻辑的思考,也没有进行抽象形式语言的研究,也没有主观进行图像的制造。在画线的过程中,我除去绘画的标准和经验去进行对画面的控制,同时放弃任何审美形式,画面本身不在绘画语言中思考问题,它只是作为观念表达的输出,在行动中视觉化的过程呈现。

“Linear Movement” is not abstract painting, it neither follows any kind of logical thinking in abstract art language, nor as the study of abstract language, it does not create images subjectively either. During the process of drawing lines, I abandon the control of painting by any pre-existing painting standards and experiences, and give up all aesthetic forms as well. The image itself does not immerse in any painting language, it is only as the output of conceptional expression, and as process record of the visualization in movement.

在行动中,我拿一支笔在纸上持续的画直线,直到把笔里的墨水画完为止,最后是什么形态和何时结束是无法预知的。过程中很难出现更多的可能性,偶然性也只是个意外。画线过程本身没有意义,它作为一个运动的路径保留下来。

In this action, I pick up a pen and draw straight lines on a paper continuously until running out the last drop of ink inside the pen, the final image and when the ink will finish are unpredictable. During this process, it is difficult to have more possibilities to show up, and the occasionality only can be a surprise. The process of drawing lines is meaningless, it is only preserved as the path of the movement.

直线是最单纯的运动方式之一,也是最直接的思维输出反射。直线概念中的直线是无限直的,在行动中我尽量保持一种接近无限直的状态,但身体不是机器,使这条线永远无法达到这个直线概念中的标准,只能存在一个相对直的状态中。出于直线概念的准确性需要,我想控制这条线的运动形态,让它保持平衡,接近无限直,但在行动的过程中,由于线惯性的运动,使它自身产生了生命感,它力图挣脱这种控制。身体在控制线运动的过程中发生抵抗,逐渐失去主体意识,同时也被线控制着成为被迫被动的工具,运动在这控制与被控制中矛盾的持续着。

Straight-line is the simplest way of movement, and the directest reflection of the thought. The straight-line is infinite straight in the straight-line concept, and I try my best to stay close to this infinite straight state in the movement, but the human body is not a machine, so the straight line I draw never can be as perfect as the infinite straight line, and only exist in a relative straight condition. For the accuracy of the straight-line concept, I want to control the movement trace of this line, to stay balanced and be close to the infinite straight. But during the movement, under the inertial motion, the line itself grows a sense of life, it tries to break my control. The resistance of the body happens between the process of controlling the line movement, then loses subject consciousness little by little. The body is controlled by the line and become a passive tool at the same time, and the movement continuously moves between the conflict of controlling and being controlled.
