BACA CONNECTION 是BACA艺术中心和BACA国际艺术教育共同推出的一个连接更多的伦敦艺术大学校友和中国公众的艺术项目。通过面向伦敦艺术大学校友公开招募具有国际视野的艺术家参展并呈现的展览《艺术的语法结构》，试图从一个独特的角度来探讨不同的文化艺术教育体系对于艺术创作个体美学观念的影响。

个体的创意实践生长于多种语法重组之后的框架之中，这种语法结构的符号表达、色彩应用、材料研究、历史脉络，媒介的自我属性以及公共关系等都碎片式地塑造了个体的内在属性和其各自的视觉经验。在《艺术的语法结构》展览中展示的视觉经验，将是一个多样性的表达，包含架上绘画、装置、雕塑、摄影和影像等艺术媒介。

我们期待来自于不同文化背景的艺术家们，直接或间接地对创新性艺术实践和艺术教育体系进行前瞻性的探讨。《艺术的语法结构》展览延展的系列艺术讲座亦将在展期内举行。

BACA CONNECTION is an art programme cosponsored by BACA Art Centre and Beijing Academy of Creative Arts (BACA), aiming to connect more alumni of the University of the Arts London with the Chinese public. Through open call of artists for the exhibition "The Grammatical Structure of Art", BACA CONNECTION attempts to discuss the influence of different cultural and artistic education systems on individual aesthetic concepts of artistic creation from a unique perspective. 

The individual creative practices are developed in a frame formed after restructuring of the art grammar. The symbolic expression, the use of colors, the study of materials, the historical context, the self-attribution of media, and the public relations of this grammatical structure all helped shape individuals’ intrinsic attributes and their own visual experience. The visual experience displayed in the "The Grammatical Structure of Art" exhibition will be a diverse expression, including painting, installation, sculpture, photography video and so on. 

We expect artists from different cultural backgrounds to take part in discussions on current and future innovations in art practices as well as art education programmes. A series of art talks will also be held during the exhibition "The Grammatical Structure of Art”.

BACA国际艺术教育中心(简称BACA)，由伦敦艺术大学北京招生代表处于2011年在北京创立。BACA将国际艺术设计预科、国际艺术高中等西方艺术课程引进中国，为具有艺术天赋的学生带来最纯正的西式教育，为学生们将来的艺术发展打下坚实基础。

Beijing Academy of Creative Arts (BACA) was founded in 2011 in Beijing by the Beijing Admissions Representative Office of the University of the Arts London. BACA is the first art academy in China, which is based on an international art and design curriculum. Our programmes include Foundation Diploma, A-Level, Level 2 Diploma, Portfolio Training and Art Tour, which provides a range of opportunities for Chinese students from Junior School level (15 years old) to Pre-University level (19 years old). 

BACA’s educational philosophy is to encourage personal identity and creativity. All members of our teaching team have come through the western art and design education system, with strong academic backgrounds and international experiences in art and design education. BACA’s international art and design courses have already become a meaningful addition to the Chinese education system, and artistic talents cultivated by BACA are forming the pillars of the developing creative industry of China.
